IASP in Kenya
Kenya successfully hosted the 41st International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) World Conference 2024 in Nairobi, under the theme “Demographics, Entrepreneurship, and Technology: Defining the Frontiers of Future Economics.” The event attracted over 300 delegates from around the world, who gathered to discuss how digital technologies and knowledge-driven investments could foster sustainable economic growth.
The Kenya Tourism Board (KTB) partnered in this event to bridge tourism and innovation, demonstrating Kenya’s capacity to host global conferences and reinforcing its appeal as a destination that blends business with leisure (B-leisure).
The conference featured discussions on key topics such as the role of science parks in nurturing entrepreneurship, digital innovations in research and development, and the socioeconomic impact of technology adoption.
